Job Summary
1- Responsible for the design, preparation and implementation of all tour elements and components that are involved in the creation and operation of each tour.
2- Responsible for the negotiations of our product, to ensure that we have the best / one of the best pricing in the territory. The position entails both maintaining and expanding our current product or developing new product.
3- An ability to initiate, maintain and strengthen relationships with supplier. We seek an individual who can both initiate and grow a business relationship; ultimately building comprehensive supplier loyalty to our company, through these suppliers understanding of our distribution network and abilities.
4- Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and proposal / presentation writing and designing.
5- Responsible to meet cost of sales and margin goals collaboratively set with General Manager / Finance.
6- Responsible for creating and executing tour budgets to plan and updating budgets post finalization for accurate financial planning.
7- Work closely with the Operations agent / team to maintain an awareness and understanding of the products and with the Sales to know what is needed to close sales.
8- Expected to respond to questions and problems as he/she is presented from both internal sources ( Operation, sales and management) and external sources (guests, travel agents and suppliers).
9- Successfully contribute to the research, design, development, maintenance, enhancement, organization, communication and budgeting/costing of changes to current product and new product opportunities for assigned tours/region.
This includes incorporation of the enhancement , maintain and enhance all assigned products/region with respect to cost-of-sale, quality control, customer service, new/unique opportunities exclusive .
10- Help the operation to facilitate the general maintenance of each assigned tour/region including, but not limited to, frequent correspondence and follow-up with suppliers
11- Facilitate the research and fulfillment of special tour requests such as dietary restrictions, handicapped rooms, wheelchair assistance, individual transfers, joining and general itinerary information, and tour / hotel ,sightseeing , transfer reservations for pre-formed groups/FIT when indicated by the Sales Department.
12- Ensure the administration of risk management (liability) controls regarding transportation and “adventure" suppliers for all assigned tours administration of post tour communications including resolution and supplier comments, guest comment cards, letters and telephone calls as necessary.
Maintain and share with Sales a thorough awareness of current and potential suppliers
13- General awareness of all our suppliers, including site visitations and attendance at industry functions and trade shows as necessary and appropriate maintain thorough awareness of company competitors and their product offerings, including where necessary, competitive analysis.
RESULTS/EXPECTATIONS
1- Effective implementation and maintenance of all assigned products and product lines with respect to profitability, quality control, customer service and enhancements to existing products/services in a manner consistent with company objectives, quality of service parameters and customer
2- satisfaction criteria that enhances the propensity for repeat business
Continuous coordination with Sales & Marketing to ensure successful communications and implementation of product information, new product offerings,
3- meet/exceed assigned business goals
Requirements:
1 - Experience in incoming tourism to Poland
2 - Fluent/Native Polish
3 - Excellent verbal and communication skills
4 - Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
5 - Fast learner, self-motivated, with positive attitude
